Ouch

So as I am sure most of you have noticed my Facebook updates about my back pain. Well, come to find out I have a kidney stone. This may be the most horrific pain I have ever experienced. I have massive tattoos on my thighs, have broken two arms, and had road rash that would make a grown man cringe.I have read many places that if I can do this than childbirth should be easy. Lets hope that is the case.

I have done a mass amount of reading on kidney stones during pregnancy and it looks like we are in for a painful 18.5 weeks. They are unable to do a CT scan to see exactly how large it is and if there is more than one. Pain medications cannot be prescribed and Tylenol doesn't even touch the pain. Treatment is very limited. My doctor has ordered me to drink a ton of fluids and that is pretty much it. I am most worried about it sending me into early labor.

21 Weeks

How far along: 21 weeks

Maternity clothes: Almost everyday. Just because they are probably 10x more comfortable than my regular shirts.

Stretchmarks: Nope

Sleep: I was cursed with terrible back pain this week and got very little sleep most of the week. Last night I slept like a rock though

Morning sickness: None!

Movement: Yes. Austin thinks he has felt her a couple of times. It is still pretty slight.

Food cravings:I just got the urge to go to Macayos. I am waiting on Austin to finish up whatever he is doing and we are off to fill up on an amazing mexican food!
Food aversions: Red meat. Steak makes me nauseous. 

Have you started to show yet: Yes

Gender prediction: It is a girl.

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in

Wedding rings on or off: On! 

Milestones this week: Movement! She started kicking me pretty good on Tuesday :]

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy.

Miss anything: Sleeping on my stomach.

Looking forward to: We have a family reunion in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see everyone. It has been a few years since we have all been together!!

20 weeks

How far along: 20 weeks

Maternity clothes: Not a must but I do wear them 70% of the time anyways. I did hit up the Target Clearance rack last night :]

Stretchmarks: Nope

Sleep: Well, Austins lovely dog decided he hated me on Monday; he ran to our room and lifted his leg on my amazing body pillow. I haven't had a good night of sleep since. We bought a Boppy body pillow. I slept like a rock and my back feels way better

Morning sickness: None!

Movement: Very slight but I was assured in our ultrasound today when I got to see her move as I felt her.

Food cravings: Veggies! I love me some carrots with ranch... Preferably blue cheese, but when I bought a bottle it was expired in 2 days! What the heck??
Food aversions: Pizza. I hate grease.

Have you started to show yet: Slightly

Gender prediction: It is a girl.

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in

Wedding rings on or off: On! **Finally**

Milestones this week: We had another ultrasound this week. She is still a girl! She is now 9 inched long and weighs approximately 10 ounces!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy.

Miss anything: My body pillow...

Looking forward to: Sleeping better!

19 Weeks

I know I have already blogged this week but I am trying to catch back up to once a week. I will also not be working tomorrow. The plan is to get my license renewed, my registration fixed and get Reagan's room paint/flooring ready. I will be lucky to accomplish half I am sure. 

How far along: 19 weeks

Maternity clothes: Buying sporadically. Not necessary yet but definitely more comfortable.   

Stretchmarks: Not yet

Sleep: The past 3 nights have been the best nights of sleep ever. Austin and I switched sides of the bed and I really think that has helped me sleep through the night.

Morning sickness: Not at all.

Movement: Still in that in between stage where I think I can feel her sometimes and others I know I can feel her squirming about.

Food cravings: Nothing crazy lately.However, I did have a Macayo burrito for lunch today. Ahhhhh, I am happy to say I have some left to eat for dinner :]
Food aversions: Tomatoes. So depressing because my mom has a lovely garden full of them.

Have you started to show yet: Still a little bump

Gender prediction: It is a girl.

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in

Wedding rings on or off: On. Or they will be when I get them back from Kay tomorrow.

Milestones this week: Well, Not really pregnancy related, but yesterday was my 20th birthday. 

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Miss anything: Swimsuits. Definitely not feeling comfortable in my bikini this Summer.

Looking forward to: Austin and I both took off work tomorrow. We are spending the day cleaning out her room and hopefully starting the decorating process. 

 

18 Weeks

How far along: 18 weeks

Maternity clothes: I bought two shirts last week from Motherhood. Kind of on the expensive side for a t-shirt with ruching. I might need to learn how to do that myself so I am not buying a new wardrobe. However, my mom did buy me a weeks worth of maternity shirts for my birthday<3 I have been wearing them. So comfortable. 

Stretchmarks: No.

Sleep: I am trying to wean myself off of the naps. This makes my night's sleep so much better. I can get out of bed with no problem of hitting the snooze button 20 times. 

Morning sickness: Not at all.

Movement: I'm starting to feel her a little bit. Not very distinctive yet though. Austin is very excited to feel her movement.

Food cravings: Fruit. I love cantaloupe
Food aversions: Anything with tomatoes, sadly. The acidity gives me terrible heartburn. 

Have you started to show yet: Yes, finally. Just a little bump but it is noticeable now.

Gender prediction: It is a girl.

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in.

Wedding rings on or off: On. But they were sent in for service so I have been without them for over a week. Talk about feeling naked! And actually, Kay jewelers lost one of my wedding rings. We are in the middle of sorting that out.

Milestones this week: Movement :] 

Happy or Moody most of the time: Definitely happy!

Miss anything: On the mornings I am dragging ass I miss Rockstars.

Looking forward to: Getting her room cleaned out and start the painting!
