These weeks are flying by - Week 13

How far along: 13 weeks

Maternity clothes: Nope. Though we did go to Target last night and I found a few nice shirts.

Stretchmarks: Nope

Sleep: Still sleeping a ton.  I think it is contagious because my anti-nap husband has started napping with me. Makes me feel better to know he isn't being productive while I sleep my afternoon away.

Morning sickness: Not really. It has been a lovely week. But I will say that brushing my teeth makes me gag everyday. It is awful.

Movement: Not yet

Food cravings: I was craving Pit Stop so flippin bad on Monday so we drove to BC to indulge and it was 'closed for renovations'. So off we went to Evans. I have lived out of Boulder for too long; I forgot they are closed on Mondays. So Tuesday we finally were able to have Pit Stop. It made me so frickin sick. No more Pit Stop :[
Food aversions: ^^^^^^^

Have you started to show yet: Not quite.

Gender prediction: Boy.

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in.

Wedding rings on or off: On

Milestones this week: Hmmmm, Finally getting over my sickness. I have felt 10 times better and even a little less tired than I have been. 

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. I think this week has been a relatively good one.

Miss anything: Well it is Summer and that usually calls for a trip to Cali for Six Flags or Knotts Berry Farm. No roller coasters for me.
Looking forward to: 4D Ultrasound in 21 days!

12 weeks - Bye-Bye first trimester!

Whoohoo! Three months in! We are 1/3 of the way through! I will now start with a pregnancy questionnaire I found and stole some questions from Mrs. Willard and pieced together ;]  That way I wont ramble on as much!

How far along: 12 weeks

Maternity clothes: None. I have started to look just to be ready. I found a maternity store in the Fashion Show mall.

Stretchmarks: Nope

Sleep: Lots of it. I nap on a regular basis. Although, I am wide awake at 4a.m. most mornings. So that is kind of annoying.

Morning sickness: Unfortunately, yes. It usually occurs either right before my afternoon nap or right after. Still haven't actually puked but sometimes I think I would feel better if I would.

Movement: Haven't felt the movement yet. We were able to see Baby thrash around and that really made it set in that I am making a human being :]

Food cravings: Farm Basket. I think most Vegas natives know what Farm Basket is. There is only one in town; it is on the corner of Jones and Charleston. It is 23 miles from our house. Last Friday I HAD to have it after work; so we went. I have wanted it everyday since. I might have to treat myself today to a Clucker Sandwich.  That is the only thing I will ever eat Miracle Whip on and it is just so good.
Food aversions: Pizza. We ate Pizza last weekend and I think it may have totally ruined it for me. It was so greasy. 

Have you started to show yet: Not really. As you can see in the picture there isn't a whole lot going on yet. *Kinda wish I wouldn't have had my belt on for the picture*

Gender prediction: Boy. I think it is a boy because everyone is so sure it is a girl. Only 3 more weeks until we find out!

Labor signs: No.

Belly button in or out: Definitely in.

Wedding rings on or off: On

Milestones this week: Well last week we were able to hear the heartbeat and I think it will be hard to top that for a while

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most days but I tend to have a really short fuse so it really doesn't take much for me to become moody.

Miss anything: Honestly, I miss drinking all the caffeine. My body went through a lot quitting nicotine and the high amount of caffeine intake on a daily basis. I blame that for a lot of my headaches and tiredness.
Looking forward to: Actually looking pregnant and not just feeling like it. If that makes sense? I l know women will tell me 'Oh no, you don't want to be huge and miserable.' I would rather have a real reason to feel miserable.

11 Weeks

Yesterday was Dr. appointment number 2!

After over an hour in the waiting room I finally stepped on the scale.  Much to my surprise I have lost weight?  However, I am eating healthier[[usually]].  We were able to see baby's arms and legs in the ultrasound.  He/She was sure thrashing around in there.  Finally got to hear the heartbeat.  Absolutely breathtaking.  Baby went from .84 CM to 4.21 CM in a matter of a month.  Wow

By my next appointment we will know the gender of the little nugget!  My doc wont do a gender check until 19 -20 weeks but I am able to go to a 4D ultrasound place and find out at 14-15.  My only concern is that they look like little aliens this early in the 4D images.  I'm not sure I even want to see that.

This week has been a tough one!  Hormones are not treating me well.  Or maybe that is just my excuse that I never had for being completely out of my mind?  Morning sickness has ceased for now.  I am SO thankful for that.  I am still tired as ever.  I don't think I have been up on time all week.  I was practically nodding off in the waiting room yesterday.  Cannot wait for that to pass as well.

I am still missing my caffeine.  But other than that all is well here!  

The awesome 'new mom' comments from people are already getting old.  Yes, I have changed plenty of diapers in the past.  I am aware that I wont fit into these jeans, thank you.  Yes, I know I look like crap today.  Thank you for letting me know how much sleep I won't be getting. 

If people would just keep their mouths shut the world would be a better place.

10 weeks

 

I skipped last week so hopefully there will be more to say this week! 

 Sick, sick, sick.  That is all I have been lately. And tired of course. I finally convinced Austin to buy me a bigger bed. Sleeping on a queen sized bed with him and my enormous body pillow just isn't working out. I just want to sprawl out. I am not looking forward to the day I can no longer sleep on my tummy so I am taking full advantage of that.  

My second appointment is next Thursday. I can't believe the countdown is already down to 5 weeks to find out the gender! This is going by way too fast. I will say I am looking forward to the second trimester.  Everyone says I should feel better. I sure hope they are right.  I am over being tired 24/7.  

We are thinking the little nugget is a girl.  Everyone else seems to think so too. So we will see who will owe us money when it turns out to be a baby boy!
